HR Team Takeover!
WINGS is now going full steam, with lots of progress happening in each of the delivery areas. Brendan has kindly agreed to let each of the delivery team members take over his blog for one month and let us update you on what is happening in each of our area. This month it’s the HR teams turn!
Our team is responsible for everything to do with staffing for the event: recruitment of staff, staff programme at the event, staff briefings, staff support as well as all the staff communications. Now is a busy time for us, as all the delivery team members are looking to develop their teams and getting the right people in all of the roles!
Currently there is a wide range of roles available on the WINGS 2014 website, ranging from programme, administration, retail, health and safety and many more. Take a look and get in touch – there may be something which may be of interest. We’re always very happy to discuss any of the roles with people, before they feel they need to commit to anything!
As well as recruting volunteers to the event, we also have a lot going on behind the scenes in developing the staff experience for the WINGS week. Plans are well in place to develop a quality evening programme every day, having a creche facility, running a WINGS staff challenge as well as having staff activities running throughout the day so everyone has something to be doing!
We’re really keen to ensure that every member of staff at WINGS has a great experience and would love to hear any ideas you have on what we could do to make WINGS 2014 the very best experience for staff.
